About the Municipal League Foundation
About the Municipal League
Founded in 1971, the Municipal League Foundation collaborates in and supports the education and
research arm of the Municipal League of King County. The Foundation works in
coordination with the Municipal League of King County in a shared mission to
build stronger communities by linking people to the local governments that serve
them. The Foundation seeks to ensure that the public is informed on matters of community
interest and encourage the development of civic participation and leadership in King County.
Through a generous grant from the City of Seattle, the Foundation is implementing a special
program in furtherance of these goals. Through 2007, the Foundation will be
collaborating with civic-minded organizations and businesses to test web-based methods for
facilitating community conversation.
