Municipal League of King CountyCandidate Evaluation Committee Program: Issues TrainingIndexINTRODUCTIONAs part of its Candidate Evaluation Committee Program training for candidate evaluators, the Municipal League compiles a series of issue briefs which provide background information on a number of relevant policy issues. The 1997 issue briefs focus on city and county policy. The goal of these briefs is to inform evaluators in order to make them better judges of candidates' knowledge and abilities. The briefs do not constitute exhaustive reports on each issue, but rather a "Reader's Digest" summary of the issues. This information is supplemented by speakers on several of the topics at the Issues Training session. The following topics are covered in the on-line edition: Back to the 1997 Election Report IndexCopyright © 1997, The Municipal League of King County. All Rights Reserved.
