Civic Involvement
I am currently the Chair of the Kirkland Planning Commission and have been a member of the Commission for the past four years. During this period, I have heard and seen first hand the concerns Kirkland citizens have relative to the pressures of growth on the Eastside. As a commissioner, I take pride on the policy oriented decisions made that seek to better orchestrate and accommodate change in Kirkland. It is imperative that Kirkland take it's share of growth and yet maintain it's treasured small town feel.

Civic Involvement
Civic involvement is the dues you pay for living and is crucial for maintaining a small town feel no matter the size of the city or the size of its buildings. I believe staying engaged with your neighbors, volunteering, and always being available helps create a sense of community and can inspire others to act with passion for their home town. My record, I believe, clearly demonstrates my passion for my home and the well being of its future.
