Civic Involvement
Community involvement and volunteering are very important to me. This year I participated in the Leadership Institute in order to further my leadership skills and my connections to the community. The special project team I worked with held a community forum with the goal of enhancing pedestrian safety for children in the LWSD. I have been an active volunteer in my children’s schools particularly in the area with science enrichment. I have been a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years and I’m currently the Totem Girl Scout Council Thunderbird Association Chair.
