Civic Involvement

I have been involved in a number of local and regional issues over the years.  I am most proud of my achievements to have government be open and honest.  Making Seattle comply with the open meetings act this last spring.  The effort to prevent our highways from becoming toll roads in 1995 was a great team effort and success, but we must now work to improve our transportation system while not bankrupting the people to do so.  Treating each and every person equally and protecting them from the abuses of hyper governmental regulation will be our second greatest challenge.

The League urges voters to use other sources of election information in addition to the candidate evaluation report before going to the polls.
