Vice President of the Sammamish Saddle Club. I was constructive in the reopening of Beaver Lake Regional Park to equestrians and the building of multi-use trails in the park. We are currently working through the building permit process to construct a public riding arena and additional parking in the park. This has required meetings with park officials and utility representatives. On behalf of the Saddle Club, I have organized a number of neighborhood meetings to discuss Special District Overlays and road design issues.

I earned a Master's Degree in Professional Accounting with an emphasis in Tax from the University of Utah.
Civic Involvement
In the early 1990's, I was the co-chairperson of the Sammamish Incorporation Committee. When that effort failed, I realized that it had done so largely due to the fact that the geographic area designated as the city limits did not consider itself to be a community or to share a commonality of interests. In the interest of building that shared interest, I became a founding member of the Sammamish Kiwanis Club, a board member of the Sammamish YMCA and continued an active participation in my church.
