Alan MulallyThe featured speaker at the luncheon was Alan Mulally, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Mulally has worked at Boeing since 1969 and is responsible for all of the company's commercial airplane programs and aviation services. His division had sales of more than $30 billion in 2000. Mulally became president of Commercial Airplanes in September 1998; the responsibility of chief executive officer for the business unit was added in March 2001. He was named president of Boeing Information, Space & Defense Systems and a senior vice president of The Boeing Company in February 1997.
