THE CIVIC SCHOLAR PROGRAM
The Civic Scholar Program asks all high school age youth throughout King
County, "What does it mean to be a citizen?"
To compete for selection as a Civic Scholar, to be honored at the Municipal
League's 41st Civic Awards Luncheon on June 2nd at the Washington State
Convention and Trade Center, send us your thoughts on the meaning of
citizenship. Send us an essay, poem, drawing, collage, or other visual
representation on paper to express your thoughts. Please keep paper size to
8-1/2" x11".
Entries must be received by APRIL 28,2000. Be sure to include your name,
address, age, school and telephone number. E-mail your entry with an attached
Microsoft Word document to scholar@munileague.org
